Hours after taking the oath of office as Germany's new foreign minister, Analena Burbock will pay her first visit abroad. Tonight she will leave for Paris, where a meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is planned for Thursday morning. This was announced by a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry in Berlin, reports DPA.
Burbock will arrive in Brussels on Thursday afternoon to meet with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell. On Friday, the "green" politician will leave for Warsaw to meet with his Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau.
