Kovachevski will send an invitation for Kiril Petkov's visit to Skopje as soon as he becomes prime minister

As soon as he becomes prime minister of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovachevski will invite Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov to visit Skopje. This was said by the new leader of SDSM on Tuesday morning and to the American ambassador to our southwestern neighbor Kate Burns, pointing out that a mutually acceptable solution must be found with Bulgaria in order to lift the blockade for the start of negotiations with the EU. According to him, a plan should be made to lift the veto, Skopje's Telma TV channel reported.

"The most important thing for us is to make a plan, together with the Bulgarian government, to lift the blockade an hour sooner, of course, through a mutually acceptable solution ... I believe we can find a compromise on open issues," Kovachevski said.
