Corruption is a dubious excuse for the United States to remove some politicians

According to Serbian member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, US diplomats are calling for the country's "unitarization" and that crime and corruption are "dubious excuses" for "eliminating" politicians who disagree with their version of the country's development, his macedonian electronic edition "Localno".

Commenting on a statement by US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson that "sanctions against those who undermine the stability of the Western Balkans are on the table" and that "the new version of the executive regulation includes corruption and the possibility of sanctioning those who undermine progress". Dodik said there was nothing new from US officials both in BiH and abroad. In addition, he said, there is nothing new in the fact that they have been interfering in BiH's internal affairs for years.

"Referring to the Dayton Accords, they support its destruction and the disintegration of BiH, with which Republika Srpska agreed in 1995," Dodik said.

"We have seen trials against rebellious politicians who have since become more constructive partners with the US-led international community," Dodik said.

He recalled that the US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury recently visited BiH, where he met with Security Minister Selma Cikotic. Less than a month earlier, she had been accused of corruption.
