In contacts with the United States, Russia will adhere to the line of refusal of unilateral concessions

In negotiations with the United States on security guarantees, Russia intends to adhere to a firm line to defend national interests and refrain from unilateral concessions. This was assured by the first diplomat of Moscow Sergei Lavrov at the first meeting of the United Russia Commission for International Cooperation and Support of Compatriots Abroad, reports TACC.

"We are now committed to a firm line aimed at protecting our interests and refusing to make concessions that will be one-sided and do not take into account the balance of interests. That is what we are starting from now, when we are preparing for negotiations, first of all with the United States, "the agency quoted Lavrov as saying.
