 The Taliban, which seized power in Afghanistan in mid-August, opened fire on women who staged a demonstration in Kabul, TACC reported, citing several local media outlets.

The incident took place in the area of ​​the hospital of the Italian humanitarian organization Emergency. No casualties were reported.

 Earlier, TOLOnews reported that a group of women had staged a protest in Kabul demanding that their rights be respected and that their living conditions be improved. "We are the voice of hungry people," the channel quoted disgruntled women. "Women have woken up, we hate discrimination." According to a video released, several dozen people took part in the demonstration.
