Croatian police arrest opponents of vaccination

Members of five police administrations in five Croatian counties have detained at least five people, including Marko Franciskovic, leader of anti-vaccination protests, on suspicion of public incitement to terrorism, Croatian portal Index.hr reported.

Croatia's interior ministry announced today that a criminal investigation is under way in five counties on suspicion of committing the crime of "Public Incitement to Terrorism". It is alleged that this is an investigation due to suspicion of actions that incite the violation of the basic constitutional, political and economic structures of Croatia by encroaching on the physical integrity of others and public buildings.

Today's actions cover several people from the areas under police surveillance, the statement said, adding that in the coming days, police will work to gather evidence by searching buildings, vehicles and other equipment.
