The Italian ambassador of the Italian sports car manufacturer David Beckham became a designer with the help of Maserati Centro Stile. He transferred his passion from his second blast furnace club in Miami to a specially designed car that is a symbol of the highest performance and sporting potential. The result is the Maserati MC20 Fuoriserie Edition.
The project is part of the Maserati Fuoriserie personalization program. It must enable customers to create their own custom vehicle. Fuoriserie is like a blank canvas on which customers can realize themselves. The rest depends on your taste and inspiration. In this way, customers can set their own trends and express their personality.
In a collaborative and very personal process, Beckham and the designers of Maserati Centro Stile created the MC20 Fuoriserie Edition for David Beckham. The car shows the true passion in a carbon monocoque, made entirely in Italy, has a patented V6 petrol engine with Formula 1 technology. The inspiring starting point is Miami, home of Beckham Football Club - the creative result is the color separation of black and pink and matt surfaces.
Finally, the team's colors are black and pink, while the shirts are characterized by contrasting glossy matte elements. The leather and Alcantara interior is black with pink contrasting stitching. The backrests of the Alcantara seats are laser engraved in tone, the headrests are with three-dimensional embroidery in pastel pink. The central tunnel is decorated with a personalized sign with a special glossy-matte effect - above, next to the trident, the inscription Maserati Fuoriserie can be seen in pastel pink. Below it is the inscription "For David" in italics with aluminum effect.
Klaus Buse, Maserati's head of design, explains: "As a car designer, our mission is to offer a complete experience. This guides the stylistic research of our brand and makes each Maserati unique. Our personalization program is another example of our goal of creating unique experiences.
