Russian Su-27s escorted French fighters over the Black Sea

 


Russian Su-27 fighters have been lifted into the air to escort two Mirage 2000 and Rafal tactical fighters over the Black Sea, as well as a C-135 refueling aircraft of the French Space Forces. This was announced on Wednesday by the National Center for Defense Management of the Russian Federation, TASS reports.

"The crews of the Russian fighters identified the air targets as two tactical fighters Mirage-2000 and Rafale, as well as a C-135 tanker aircraft of the French Space Forces and escorted them over the Black Sea. The fighters returned safely to the base's airport, the statement said.
