The price of gas in Europe rose above 1,700 dollars per thousand cubic meters

 


 According to the results of trading on Monday, the price of gas in Europe is consolidating over 1,700 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, according to the London Stock Exchange ICE, reports TACC.

The January futures price of the TTF hub in the Netherlands closed at $ 1,723 per 1,000 cubic meters or 147.5 euros per megawatt-hour.

Earlier, Gazprom did not reserve additional capacity for natural gas transit through Ukraine in January and retained 21.6% of its proposed pumping capacity through Poland through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline at auction on Monday.

Also, the gas holding again did not reserve capacity for the transit of natural gas through Poland via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline for Tuesday.
