Two peacekeepers were injured in an explosion in Mali

 


 Two peacekeepers from the UN mission in Mali were injured when an improvised explosive device was detonated and were hospitalized. This was announced at a briefing by the official representative of the Secretary General of the World Organization Stefan Dujarric, reports TACC.

"The UN mission in Mali said a peacekeeping patrol was attacked by an improvised explosive device. According to preliminary data, two peacekeepers were injured and sent to a UN hospital.

No other details about the incident have been released so far.
