 Romania's Research Minister Florin Roman has resigned following plagiarism charges against him, the Agerpess news agency reported, citing the government's press office in Bucharest.

Earlier, the spokesman for the executive branch in our northern neighbor, Dan Karbunaru, reiterated that Prime Minister Nicolae Chuca had asked Roman to clarify his allegations of plagiarism, mentioning that he would have to clarify the allegations that appeared in public. space.

According to him, the new accusations against Florin Roman were not discussed at the government meeting.

"The resignation is a unilateral act. The clarifications requested by the Prime Minister have been made public, as a request, from the moment the first materials appeared in the press. (...) I understand that he still has to clarify the situation presented today, "said a government spokesman.
