A thunderstorm caused flooding in Split

 

Heavy rain with thunderstorms affected the Adriatic coast of Croatia this morning, as they are expected to wait all day, informs the Macedonian "Fokus".

Many streets in the center of Split have been flooded, and as can be seen by the Croatian media, small lakes have been formed in the center of the city. The main city boulevards are also flooded.

The automatic meteorological station Split-Spinut registers as much as 47 liters of rain per square meter from the halfway point, of which 36 liters only in the interval from 8:30 to 9:30 hours.
