A US military base in Syria has been shot down

A US military base and a Western coalition base near the Syrian village of At-Tanf were attacked on Sunday, according to Al Arabiya television.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a rally in the Syrian province of Homs, near the Iraqi border.

Several explosions were heard at the base, according to Syrian television.

There is no information on possible casualties or casualties as a result of the incident.

At the end of October, the At-Tanf base came under rocket fire and unmanned aerial vehicles. At that time, the representative of the American command in Iraq confirmed the fact of the attack on this object, as it was correct, that the US military had not suffered any losses, and only material blows were inflicted.

In November, The New York Times reported that the At-Tanf base had been attacked by pro-Iranian forces in response to Israeli air strikes on technical bases in Syria.
