Belarus has sharply warned Ukraine to take firm action in the event of a violation of its state border

 

Belarus has warned Ukraine that it will react sharply in the event of a repeated violation of its border, RIA Novosti reported.

"In case of further violations of the state border, Belarusian border guards will act extremely firmly," Mozyr Border Guard spokesman Sergei Pavlov was quoted as saying by Sputnik Belarus.

  The day before, the State Border Committee of Belarus accused Ukrainian pilots of violating its airspace. The Mi-8 helicopter, during the exercise, "crossed the state border at a height of about 100 meters and flew at a depth of one kilometer in the territory of Belarus." Ukraine's border guards, for their part, denied the allegations.

On Sunday, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense summoned the Ukrainian military attache and protested in front of him over the incident.
