Dacic describes EP resolution as "example of hypocrisy"

The European Parliament's resolution on Serbia is another example of hypocrisy and double standards. This was emphasized by the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ivica Dacic, quoting the online edition of the Belgrade daily Politika.

"In the days when Serbia opened Cluster 4 in the process of joining the European Union, recognizing Belgrade's progress in reforms, the European Parliament adopted a completely opposite resolution based on false allegations by some opposition parties and NGOs. "At a time when we are witnessing brutal police actions in many EU member states," Dacic said.

"We, of course, support European integration, but not lies and hypocrisy."

It is recalled that on Thursday, the European Parliament overwhelmingly backed a resolution expressing concern over the human rights situation of Vietnamese workers at China's Linglong factory in Zrenjanin, as well as environmental protests in Serbia.
