EU countries have not yet reached a consensus on policy towards the Russian Federation

 


 The current EU summit demonstrates the divergence of views of a number of Member States on policy towards Russia. This was announced on Thursday by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a briefing upon arrival at the meeting, TACC quoted him as saying.

"As for Russia, which is narrowing the noose around Ukraine, we have more differences of opinion with some Western European countries. But I am optimistic if we talk about the possibility of drawing common conclusions, and we will give a clear signal that we will react in the event of military aggression against Ukraine, "said the Polish Prime Minister.
