Kiev is ready to use the army in the event of a hybrid attack on migrants from Belarus

The Ukrainian armed forces are ready to do their job if the threat of an attack on Belarusian migrants grows. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the country Alexei Reznikov, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada, quoted by TACC.

"We understand these risks and we are preparing. "Under the coordination of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), an algorithm has already been developed for the interaction of all security forces in the event of a hybrid attack on migrants from the territory of Belarus," Reznikov said.

The minister did not explain what was meant by a "hybrid attack on migrants", noting only that there was a "serious threat" from the Belarusian border. "Due to the de facto annexation in Belarus (by this term the minister means the Union State of Russia and Belarus - TASS note), we have more than a thousand kilometers of border that must be protected, especially in winter," Reznikov warned. "We understand these risks and we are preparing."
