Kurti welcomes appointment of Stuart Peach as Special Envoy to the Western Balkans

 Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has welcomed British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to appoint Stuart Peach as special envoy for the Western Balkans region, according to Pristina's Gazeta Express.

Kurti said he expects close co-operation with Peach to protect and promote freedom and democracy in the Balkans. "I welcome the appointment of the British Chief Aviation Marshal Sir Stuart Peach as Special Envoy for the Western Balkans and look forward to working closely with him in defending and promoting freedom and democracy in the Western Balkans," Kurti wrote on Twitter.
