Many Russians want to live in a country like Ukraine and want a Maidan in Russia

 

US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Newland is convinced that many Russians want to be in the place of Ukrainians, RIA Novosti reports.

"Many Russians would like to live in a country like yours," Newland told the Kiev Security Forum.

In addition, according to her, the people of Russia would like to see the events in Ukraine in their country.

Newland participated in the forum the day before, her speech was broadcast via video link. The politician threatened Russia with "unprecedented sanctions" if he invaded a neighboring country, and also said that America and other NATO members support Ukraine.
