Pristina and Belgrade are not ready for dialogue

A new meeting in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue at the highest political level is unlikely soon, Kosovo media reported. Representatives of the European Union have said that none of the countries is currently ready to engage constructively in dialogue.
Peter Stano, a spokesman for the EU's foreign policy service, said the precondition for the next meeting should be the readiness of the parties to agree on concrete results in the interests of their citizens. "Recent contacts by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Diplomacy of EU Dialogue Representative Miroslav Lajcak have shown that there is no readiness at the moment," Stano said.
