The oldest resident of China died at the age of 135

 


The oldest resident of China - Alimihan Seichi, died at the age of 135, Xinhua reports.

According to the agency, the woman, who lived in the Kashgar district of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, led a very active lifestyle. She did the housework and took care of herself without help, walked regularly, and despite her age helped her grandchildren look after their great-grandchildren.

The village of Kumusherik, where Alimihan Seiti lived, is known in China as a village of the elderly: it has many elderly people over the age of 90. In this regard, the government regularly organizes free medical examinations, providing citizens with preferential treatment, the agency said.
