We are working with European partners for the rapid integration of Northern Macedonia into the EU

 The United States is working with European partners to rapidly integrate Northern Macedonia into Community structures. This was assured by the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and Special Representative for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar at a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of our southwestern neighbor Buyar Osmani.

  "We are not only friends with Northern Macedonia, but also partners and allies," Escobar said after meeting with Skopje's first diplomat. "I would like to thank the Republic of Northern Macedonia for its continued support and contribution to NATO and I would like I convey the strong support of the US administration for the rapid European integration of the Republic of Macedonia. We are working with our European partners to ensure that this happens very quickly.
