Five agreements were signed at the Open Balkans meeting in Tirana

 


 A total of five common market agreements were signed during the second day of the Open Balkans Summit in Tirana. This was announced by the host of the event - the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, quoted by the Albanian-language Skopje-based TV channel Alsat-M.

"These are agreements that are neither more nor less than those for the common market and the common regional market ... Open Balkans is an initiative that promotes what has been signed in the framework of the Berlin Process," Rama said.

 The following agreements were signed today in Tirana in the framework of the Open Balkans:

1. Common and free labor market between Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia;

2. Establishment of a joint scheme for electronic connection of the citizens of the Western Balkans;

3. Intergovernmental Agreement between Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, food safety and phytosanitary in the Western Balkans;

4. Agreement between Albania and Serbia on Mutual Recognition of the Economic Security Operator (AEOS);

5. Agreement between Albania and Northern Macedonia on Mutual Recognition of the Economic Security Operator (AEOS).
