The American company Moderna presented updated data on the booster dose of its vaccine of 50 micrograms, according to which it increases the number of antibodies against the new strain of coronavirus "Omicron" by 37 times. This was announced on Monday on the official website of the manufacturer, reports TACC.
"There is evidence that Moderna's currently authorized booster vaccine against COVID-19 can increase neutralizing antibody levels 37-fold," said CEO Stefan Bansel. A still unused dose of 100 micrograms was tested, which showed an 83-fold increase from the initial two-dose course. The company continues the tests and considers possible side effects.
