Panther fled near the Hungarian border with Serbia


 

Police in Hungary are searching for a dangerous animal in the area of ​​the town of Kiskunhalas, near the border with Serbia, the Belgrade-based Telegraf reported, saying the escaped animal was probably a black panther.

The town is located only about 40 km from Subotica, the editorial office explains.

An animal that was in captivity is wanted, presumably a black panther, police said.

The search operation was launched after the appearance of images with the panther, which turned out to be authentic. Experts warn that this is a dangerous animal that feeds on cats, dogs and small livestock, that it is easy to hide and unpredictable.
