According to the ruling SDSM party, "RSM has done everything to meet the conditions for starting negotiations and therefore it is justified to expect Bulgaria, in accordance with European values, to lift the blockade soon."

They believe that the lack of a date in December or January will not destabilize the ruling majority, despite Alternative forming it after the local elections on the condition of rapid European integration.

"A stable parliamentary majority has been established on the basis of principles for the country's European path, stability and progress. A parliamentary majority has been reached with parties that support these strategic goals and are ready to take responsibility at a time when we are facing challenges such as the energy crisis, the pandemic and people's entire lives ... There is no need for early elections, now is the time to take responsibility ", Said Bogdanka Kuzevska, spokeswoman for SDSM.

Alternative also says they remain in the government agreed between Zaev and Gashi for now.
