The death toll from Typhoon Rai in the Philippines reached 108


 

 At least 108 people have died in the Philippines during the Pacific Typhoon "Rai", AFP reports, citing local authorities.

Earlier, 75 deaths were reported.

The Hong Kong Meteorological Observatory said Thursday that a new typhoon, the 22nd this season, called "Paradise", has formed in the western Pacific and is approaching the Philippines.

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasts of Vietnam, by mid-Sunday the epicenter of the typhoon will be located in the water area of ​​the Vietnamese province of Binh Dinh.
