The next meeting of the Open Balkans initiative will take place on December 20th-21st in Tirana

The next meeting of the Open Balkans initiative will take place on December 20th-21st in the Albanian capital, Tirana, according to the Macedonian News Agency (MIA).

Serbian President Alexander Vucic will visit Tirana on December 20th and 21st to meet with the Open Balkans regional initiative, Belgrade-based MIA reported.

The meeting, hosted by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, will be attended by the Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, as well as the head of state of our western neighbor, Aleksandar Vucic, Serbian media reported.

The previous Open Balkans meeting took place in early November in Belgrade. In the meeting, Vucic announced that the next meeting would take place in Tirana in the second half of December, at which he expects a Memorandum of Understanding on work permits to be signed.

This agreement would mean that a work permit issued in any of these three countries would apply to all members of the initiative - Serbia, Macedonia and Albania.
