The WHO has added Novavax to the list of emergency vaccines


 

 The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended the emergency vaccine against the coronavirus Nuvaxovid of the American company Novavax for emergency use. The drug is the tenth approved for use in the coronavirus pandemic, according to a statement from the organization, reports Reuters.

"The World Health Organization identified Nuvaxovid as an emergency [vaccine] after it was evaluated and approved by the European Medicines Agency [EMA] earlier today," the statement said.
