Belarus and Russia will hold military events to cover the southern Belarusian border

Belarus and Russia are planning a set of measures to cover the republic's southern borders. This was announced to reporters on Monday by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Hrenin, quoted by TASS.

"We plan to conduct the exercise together with our colleagues, the main strategic ally - the Russian Federation," the head of the Ministry of Defense was quoted as saying by BelTA.

The United States and Britain want to destroy the EU through Poland

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has expressed confidence that the United States and Britain, with the participation of Poland, intend to destroy the European Union, TASS reports.

"The situation on the western border is not easy. You can see that these Polish bastards have already slipped around. "Pay attention to where [Polish Prime Minister Mateusz] Morawiecki went yesterday - in Great Britain," the head of state said at a meeting at the republic's defense ministry on military security on Monday, BelTA reported. Lukashenko is sure that in a year or two they want to destroy the European Union at the suggestion of Washington.                     Lukashenko noted that the United States does not need partners who can be equal to them. According to him, as soon as the EU introduced its currency, "this created a threat to the dollar and problems began in the Euro-Atlantic bloc."

"We understand. At the moment, we are all bottom - euro or dollar, "said the president. Mr Lukashenko is convinced that it is no accident that Britain has left the European Union, as it has found nothing in it, so now the stakes are on Poland. "Some of them are already starting to openly declare: if the subsidies from the European Union (billions of dollars and euros) run out, we do not need the EU. That is why everything is being done to destroy the European Union, "the Belarusian leader summed up.

Vucic complains in Brussels that Kurti speaks openly about "Greater Albania", but Serbs are banned from "Serbian world"

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will send a scathing letter to Brussels urging European officials to respond to Albin Kurti's open statements on Kosovo-Albania reunification, the Belgrade daily Informer reported, asking them why they did not accept Belgrade to talk about " Serbian world. "

"How is it possible for Albin Kurti to constantly talk about the unification of Kosovo and Albania, and quite openly, without anyone in the European Union reacting to it ?! Does this mean that they will be silent if someone from Belgrade starts talking about unification (of the Serbs)? On what principle is everything allowed to Albanians and everything forbidden to Serbs ?!"                                                                                          This was publicly asked by Serbian President Alexander Vucic, who announced that he would send a letter to Brussels upon his return from Sochi, where he met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Vucic said he was ready to dare to ask for an explanation as to whether that meant Serbs were not entitled to the same standards.

Serbia describes Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, BiH as "hostile states"

The Serbian state leadership has adopted a strategic document for the long-term development of its armed forces, in which Albania, Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been identified as potential adversaries, the Pristina-based Gazeta Express reported, citing an article in the Serbian daily Informer.

The strategy outlines the development of the Serbian defense system and notes that the Serbian armed forces "must be stronger than all other armed forces of potentially hostile countries in the region combined."                     "Analyzes show that at the moment we are about 65-70 percent in terms of the combined forces of Croatia, Bosnia, Albania and Kosovo. However, this is not enough. The new strategy aims to increase the Serbian army to at least 110 percent of military power compared to those four countries in the coming years, the document said.

The Spanish government has confirmed that it does not recognize Kosovo's independence

The Spanish government has reaffirmed its decision not to recognize Kosovo's independence, although it notes that it has a "constructive approach" on the issue and supports the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue under the auspices of the European Union, Belgrade's Politika reported.

This was announced in the parliamentary response of MP Mariona Ilamoli, who asked about Kosovo's aspirations to join the EU.

In response, the Spanish government reaffirmed to Europa press its position "on the non-recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence that Pristina adopted in 2008, as it is a unilateral act".                                                                          However, the government said that "from a constructive point of view, it is time to make a last-ditch effort to resolve the issue of Kosovo's territory in the framework of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, an agreement that respects international law."

As for Kosovo's aspirations to join the EU, the government has said it is actively committed to EU enlargement policy and fully believes in the need for a new wave of accession to the Western Balkans.                                                                         Ilamola also asked the executive about the EU-Western Balkans summit in Slovenia in October, which was also attended by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

The Catalan MP asked if the government believed that Spain's image was being damaged by vetoing the flags and symbols of a country like Kosovo.

It refers to the fact that in order to ensure the participation of Pedro Sanchez and the leaders of other EU countries that do not recognize Kosovo, it was decided not to use symbols of the youngest Balkan country at the event.                               "Non-recognition (of Kosovo) does not mean termination of participation," the Spanish government explained, noting that participation has certain conditions agreed within the EU.

Serbia has saved about 1 billion euros thanks to the price of gas from Russia

Serbia has managed to save at least 1 billion euros thanks to the favorable gas price set by Russia during the November 25th talks. This was announced on Sunday by the President of the Republic Alexander Vucic on the air of the Hit Tvit show on Pink TV.                                                                                 "We agreed [at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin] on the oil formula, which did not always look as attractive as it does today," he said. "This is a formula that, at an oil price of $ 82-83 per barrel, allows you to pay about $ 270-275 for 1,000 cubic meters of gas, so it's advantageous to have an oil formula right now. <...> I promise that we will continue to work and in the future we will have the lowest price in Europe, without the CIS countries. We succeeded, this is not 300 million savings for all Serbian citizens, this is at least 1 billion euros, including all foreign exchange transactions, this is a strategic issue for the country, these are huge savings. ". Do you even understand that the prices vary from 650 to 1,200 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, and we pay 270? ”The Serbian leader emphasized.

"I am proud of our country, with the fact that in the last period we have built a 402 km long gas pipeline [Balkan Stream]: when you have a gas pipeline, you can talk about another price. President Putin - endless gratitude for respecting Serbia's interests and giving us such a price for six months, as it is difficult for him to set such a price for a longer period, because other [gas buyers] would be outraged, the Germans are now fighting for a price of $ 500, that's twice what we pay, "Vucic said. "As for the price of gas in six months, nothing, I will go on a new visit. These are issues that cannot be resolved over the phone, my conversation with Putin lasted three hours. And this (low gas price) is not because we have to buy weapons. "No, we buy weapons from Russia of our own free will because we want to be strong, not because someone is forcing us to buy weapons," the Serbian leader added.

As a result of talks in Sochi on November 25th, Russia kept the price of gas for Serbia at $ 270 for the six winter months, after which Belgrade will receive favorable terms from Moscow under a long-term contract. According to Vucic, these conditions are "exceptional".

Macedonia expects solution with Bulgaria in 14 days, roadmap could enter EU negotiating framework

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, estimates that the announcement of the formation of a government in Bulgaria will facilitate the process of overcoming open issues and thus possibly unblock Skopje's European path, Skopje-based TV 21 reports.                                                                                                    He stressed that intensive work is being done to define an answer to the 5 + 1 points and it is expected that a response to these proposals will be given these days, which will be the basis for the next round of negotiations. The first session of the new Bulgarian parliament is scheduled for December 1st, but it remains unclear whether an agreement will be reached with Bulgaria by the time of the EU Council.                  "We expect certain concrete steps in the coming days regarding the exchange of proposals, we are waiting for a meeting between the experts from the two ministries to meet and possibly bring these views closer to finding a solution. "If we understand the weight of the moment, 14 days is enough based on what we have done so far to reach an agreement," Bujar Osmani said.
