The leader of the British opposition accused Boris Johnson of violating the law

The leader of the opposition Labor Party of Great Britain, Kier Starmer, accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson of violating the laws introduced in the country during the nationwide quarantine. Starmer said this in an interview with the BBC on Sunday.

"I believe he broke the law and he actually admitted that he broke the law himself. (The Prime Minister's Office) even apologized to the Queen for some of the parties that took place there," Starmer said. To me, it is quite obvious that the parties took place on an industrial scale, which is almost indisputable, so the facts speak for themselves. The prime minister broke the law and then lied about it. "

Earlier this week, Starmer, who headed the Royal Prosecution Service from 2008 to 2013, called on the country's prime minister to resign. The call was backed by the Scottish People's Party and several members of the ruling Conservative Party, but the initiative to vote of confidence in the prime minister does not have enough open support among members of Johnson's party.
