Vucic urged Dodik to return Serbs to BiH institutions

Peace and stability are key to the entire region, and all political forces in Republika Srpska must participate in the work of joint institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and best protect the interests of the Serbian people, concluded Serbian President Alexander Vucic and Serbian Presidium member. of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, Belgrade's Politika writes.

Dodik noted that an unprecedented political and media campaign is being waged against Republika Srpska and the Serb people in BiH, citing the celebration of Republika Srpska Day and the most brutal insults since Sarajevo.

The Bosnian leader also stressed that it is almost impossible for the Serb people to fight for justice and consistent implementation of the Dayton Accords due to the one-sided and biased approach, especially of the United States.

Vucic said US sanctions against Milorad Dodik and other Republika Srpska officials were a terrible precedent and could only have catastrophic consequences for the development of relations between the three nations and the two entities in BiH and beyond, across the region.

"Sanctions have always been a problem and never a solution," the head of state of our western neighbor added.

"My request to President Dodik and all political factors in RS is not a request to agree with anything or to vote for anything, on the contrary, my request is the table at which RS representatives should sit, not to is empty and to fight in the best possible way "for the interests of the entity and the Serbian people," said Vucic, who is ready to explain his proposal to all institutions and political representatives in Banja Luka.

Vucic and Dodik also discussed the significant financial support provided by Serbia for the Bosnian Republika Srpska.
