"After the meeting between the Prime Ministers of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, the first step was taken, a new window of cooperation and friendship between the two countries opened, which we believe will support our European integration. "Relations between Macedonia and Bulgaria must be built on the principles of co-operation, especially in the economy, infrastructure, trade and business co-operation," SDSM was quoted as saying by Skopje's local newspaper Lokalno.
According to them, in this direction is the creation of working groups in several areas: economy, infrastructure, trade, culture, education, which are important for citizens, for their future, but are especially important for young people.
"The Republic of Bulgaria has agreed to use the short version of the constitutional name, as well as the long name, which has already been reported to the United Nations.
"Taking the issue out of the negotiation process through harmonious and friendly relations between the two countries is the first big step in a new chapter in relations between the two neighboring countries," the ruling party said in a statement.
