A magnitude 5.3 earthquake has been registered in the Aegean Sea


 

 A magnitude 5.3 earthquake shook the Aegean coast off the coast of Greece on Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

The quake occurred at 13:48 local time (coincides with the Bulgarian one). The epicenter was 142 km southeast of Thessaloniki, home to about 354,000 people. The hypocenter is at a depth of 10 km.

There were no reports of injuries, damage or tsunami.
