At least 10 people, including four police officers, were injured during a protest against government restrictions on the coronavirus in the German city of Greiz (Thuringia), DPA reported, citing local police.
The action took place on Saturday night and gathered about 400 people. The police did not allow the organizers planned by the city's streets, the situation escalated, and the guards had to use tear gas and batons to calm especially aggressive participants.
Demonstrations against the restrictions took place on Saturday in other Thuringian cities. They gathered a total of over 1,000 people.
