Russia has not heard a clear response to its proposals for security guarantees at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council. This was stated on Thursday by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the organization Alexander Lukashevich at a briefing in Vienna, quoted by TACC.
"Unfortunately, we did not hear an adequate response or reaction to our proposals from our partners. It all revolved around their concerns and Russia's allegedly aggressive behavior, especially in the context of Ukrainian events. in his own way, "Lukashevich said.
"We do not issue an ultimatum, but we offer to professionally resolve the problems that have arisen in the Russian Federation and other countries, and to find compromises on this issue. We expect a response from our partners in the short term, it is not a long process for months and years, "he said.
The West's position following the results of the Geneva-Brussels talks shows that there will be no constructive response to Russia's proposals, Lukashenko said.
"The only thing I understand is that the coordinated position of the so-called collective West pushes us to the point that, unfortunately, we do not receive a constructive response to our proposals. At least I have that impression. This is definitely disappointing and would be wrong," he said.
