An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered in western Turkey


 

 An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered in western Turkey in the morning, according to the official website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The epicenter was reported 85 km southwest of Alanya, with a population of about 112,000. Its depth was 69 km.

There are no reports of destruction, casualties or the threat of a tsunami.
