Newly appointed US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Owenie arrives in Pristina, Kosovo newspaper Gazeta Express reports
Nicholas Jacobe, Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Pristina, announced that the new Ambassador Owenie had already arrived in Kosovo. "Today I welcomed the nominee for Ambassador Jeff Owenier in Pristina. It has been an honor for me to serve as Chargé d'Affaires over the last few months. Keep an eye on @UsAmbKosovo for updates on Ambassador Owenie's first weeks, including Monday's accreditation ceremony, Jacobe wrote on Twitter.
The US Embassy announced on December 28, 2021, that Jeffrey Owenie had been sworn in as Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Newland as the new US Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo.
