"We must free Bulgarians from the fear of Macedonianism"

On Tuesday, the new government of the Republic of Macedonia will present its composition to the Assembly, while a National Security Council was held in Sofia on Monday to discuss the future of the dispute with Skopje. According to Macedonian analyst Petar Bogoevski, who spoke to Sloboden Pechat, although Bulgaria's new government gives hope to the Macedonia, President Rumen Radev has not changed his position.

"I have a feeling that Bulgarians are bored in the EU and have nothing to do, so they are harassing Macedonia. If what Radev presented yesterday is a compromise with the new Prime Minister Petkov, then I can imagine what the final positions are: should we destroy ourselves and let the Bulgarian army liberate us as in 1941? This is extremely inappropriate behavior of the Bulgarian state leadership and the implementation of Moscow's policy, "said the specialist.

As for the scandal with the Russian video for the Macedonian language, Bogoevski says:

"This is a documentary banned by Putin, the Russian embassy denies the content and all this is part of Russia's hypocritical policy. Although Bulgaria is a member of NATO, it works for Russia's interests. "

He says Bulgarians do not have a position or change their position every month, most recently wanting to change the Macedonian constitution to include the Bulgarian minority in it.

"In my opinion, Macedonia should have a civil constitution, all ethnic communities should be abolished, not new ones," Bogoevski said, adding that Bulgaria's request was to its detriment. He added that Sofia's goal is to quarrel with brother and brother and their children, born in the same house, which will be detrimental to Macedonia.

"I have the feeling that Macedonia is negotiating very wrongly, and Buckovski is not the person to do that," Bogojevski said. He said Skopje needs a strategy based on the vision Macedonia wants in 2050, adding that the country has no choice but to retain its statehood.

"In Bulgaria we do not have a good representation of our interests, but we defend only some old stereotypes inherited from the old federation. We must emphasize our cause, because they are a society that is very afraid of Macedonianism, "Bogoevski said.
