London's special envoy to the Balkans is visiting BiH

The British Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina today, where he will meet with members of the Presidium and other high-ranking officials, according to the macedonian edition of Radio Free Europe.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson said Peach would continue to support High Representative Christian Schmid in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who he said had full support from London.

Peach's visit is one in a series of visits by foreign officials to mediate key political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is recalled that Peach was appointed to the post about two weeks ago. He was elected to parliament shortly after resigning as chairman of the NATO Military Commission earlier this year.

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said after a meeting with Western Balkan ministers in London last night that Britain was stepping up its efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
