Most Britons believe that Boris Johnson will not remain prime minister until the end of 2022

Most adult Britons believe it is likely that Boris Johnson will not remain prime minister until the end of 2022, according to a poll published by Ipsos Mori on Monday and quoted by Reuters

Rising public outrage over reports of government officials holding rallies and parties when Britain was locked down last year has cast doubt on Johnson's authority in his Conservative Party.

Six out of ten people believe that Johnson will lose his job by the end of next year, the poll found.

The British newspaper The Guardian published a photo of Johnson and more than a dozen other people drinking wine in the garden of his residence on Downing Street, which according to the publication was made during the first lockdown, namely on 19 in May 2020.

At the time, the government was telling the public that it could only meet one person in an open public place, keeping a two-meter social distance.
