There was no genocide in Srebrenica, compare it to the Holocaust and Jasenovac

Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who has been fiercely criticized by Bosnian Muslims and part of the Croat community for "relativizing Srebrenica", has reiterated that Srebrenica cannot be compared to the Holocaust and the Jasenovac concentration camp. .

"This is a serious crime with elements of genocide, the court said, but no court can be the Holy Scriptures. For some people it was beneficial, but for others it was not. 5,000 or 8,000 people or 80,000 people is not the same. It is not the same whether it happens in gas chambers or happens with machetes. "I don't know who would be affected by my words," Milanovic told a news conference.

He said there was nothing wrong with his statement and said any criticism of him in BiH met with the same reactions, Croatian media reported.

"I am not a mentor of (Bosnian Croat leader Dragan) Covic, the reality is that he is a representative there. It turns out that the HDZ and SDA have a monopoly on Bosniaks and Croats there, and that may be the case in BiH. "Izetbegovic is not so much a representative of the Bosniaks as Covic is a representative of the Croats," the Croatian president said.

He added that he had heard from BiH HDZ leader Dragan Covic, who had briefed him on the subject.

"Some people keep saying that Croatia was an aggressor and that Tudjman and Susak were the same as Karadzic and Mladic. I said that Srebrenica is not the same as the Holocaust and Jasenovac ... This is madness, "Milanovic said.
