Two people died during military exercises at a training ground in Germany

 


  Two people have died as a result of a collision of military equipment, which occurred during an exercise at the military range in Bergen in the federal state of Lower Saxony, reports DPA.

Two servicemen were fatally injured in a collision between a tank and an off-road vehicle. The details of the incident are yet to be clarified. The Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany has expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and has canceled the planned events.

The military training ground in Bergen is located in the southern part of the Lüneberg Wasteland in northern Germany. It covers an area of ​​24,900 hectares and is one of the largest military training grounds in Europe.
