Almost the entire cab of a truck fell into a hole in the asphalt in Vozdovac, Belgrade, and the asphalt collapsed due to a crack in a street water pipeline, RTS reports.
The signal for the incident was given this morning around 4:30 local time, teams are still working on the spot.
The driver of the truck, which was transporting groceries to the Gerontology Center, remained unharmed and told the media that he did not even understand what had happened to him.
"I was driving slowly, the truck suddenly sank, I didn't understand what happened. Neighbors said they reported the problem yesterday, no one came, only me, "the driver told the media." I don't even know how I got out, I was alone and it was dark. "
The pipe broke on Sunday, but no one responded to signals from citizens. Representatives of the responsible services went to the field only this morning to eliminate the malfunction.
