The number of people who describe the problem of corruption as "very widespread" is 67%, while 30% describe it as "quite extensive".
A total of 87% of respondents said that the sectors most likely to include corruption are public works and public procurement (62%), the political system (59%) and the media (48%).
They are followed by municipalities and regions (39%), the judiciary (21%), the provision of medical services in the National Health System (18%), building licenses (14%), law enforcement services (11%), the public sector (9%) ) and business licensing (3%).
The results are based on 777 questionnaires completed online between September 11 and November 30 by visitors to the NTA pavilion at the Thessaloniki International Fair and by subscribers to the NTA newsletter.
