After the United States and Britain sent cyber-attack specialists to Ukraine

British cybercrime experts have been sent to Ukraine along with US counterparts to tackle potential attacks from Russia, The Times reported.

According to the publication, the experts must ensure the protection of important infrastructure facilities in Ukraine against the background of the alleged planned Russian invasion of the territory of its neighboring country. Earlier this week, The New York Times reported that the United States had sent a team of cybersecurity experts to Ukraine.

In recent weeks, both Kiev and Western countries have been making allegations of preparations for a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called such information an unfounded and unfounded escalation of tensions. He stressed that the movement of Russian armed forces through the territory of the Russian Federation should not be a cause for concern, as Moscow does not pose a threat to anyone. At the same time, he did not rule out the possibility of provocations to justify such statements and warned that attempts to forcibly resolve the crisis in southeastern Ukraine would have the most serious consequences.
