A group of opponents of the COVID-19 vaccine stormed a high school in central Macedonia, grabbed the school principal, handcuffed him and dragged him to the local police station, claiming they had "arrested" him for imposing measures on the coronavirus. reports the TV channel SKAI.
As soon as they arrived at the police station, the attackers were arrested and sent to the Katerini Police Security Department, and the school principal was released.
"We have reached a level of utter absurdity. "People who break the law arrest a Greek citizen and take him to the police," said Anastasios Manolas, the town's mayor.
According to him, the school principal resisted his "arrest" and received bruises on his hands.
The attackers are believed to be members of a peripheral group calling themselves "Guardians of the Constitution". They have set up several Facebook groups to distribute anti-wax content and videos with nationalist rhetoric.
