Disintegration of BiH is possible if the crisis is not resolved

If this crisis is not resolved, the break-up of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Republika Srpska (RS) is possible and no one should doubt it, said Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of the BiH presidency, Radio Free Europe.

He told a press conference in East Sarajevo (which is part of Republika Srpska) that the situation in BiH was "absurd" and called on the European Union "to stop considering BiH an experiment".

Two of the three constituent nations do not support the way BiH is doing, the way Muslims in BiH envisioned it, in which Croats will choose "their" representatives, and Serbs will be deprived of their forests, their land will be confiscated. and then they will ask us to applaud. "Such a BiH is impossible to exist," Dodik said.

He said the two most important countries for Bosnia and Herzegovina are Serbia and Croatia, adding that "the Muslim leadership has never had worse relations with Croatia, nor have they ever been good with Serbia".

"If you add that they got involved in conflicts with Hungary, this is completely unnecessary. Especially orchestrated with a lot of hatred, they (Bosnian Muslims) are creating a story about how Russian malicious influence is constantly spreading here. They are trying to devastate the Serbian and Croatian sides. It is impossible for such a BiH to exist. "Relations with Serbia, Hungary, Croatia and China need to be normalized as soon as possible," Dodik said.

He also warned that the current generation "has a chance to save BiH and that the next generation will not have that chance".

Dodik has announced that RS officials will return to BiH institutions if the decision to ban genocide denial, imposed by former High Representative Valentin Inzko, is revoked.

Dodik spoke after a meeting of the BiH presidency, at which he voted against all items on the agenda.
