Hungary has expressed interest in working with Russia to protect Christians in the Middle East

Hungary is open to cooperating with Russia to protect Christians in the Middle East. This was stated in an interview with TASS by the First Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of the country on migration and North America Ferenc Dench.

"Of course, if Russia intends to cooperate, we are more than open to it. "Migration is a big problem," he said.

Dench drew attention to the difference in interpretation of the terms "refugee" and "migrant". "This is a problem. People sometimes wake up in the morning and think about what is best for them, leaving their country of residence. "... Such people cannot be considered refugees," the agency's interlocutor stressed.

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov said that the world community must take concrete measures to suppress the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and North Africa, it is necessary to "raise its voice" at the international level in favor of a solution of this problem.
