Londoners criticize the "miserable" Christmas tree from Norway

The Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square was criticized by disgruntled Londoners who described it as "eaten by fleas" and asked if "the rest is stuck in customs", writes the British tabloid The Mirror

The Christmas tree on Trafalgar Square in London is one of the most iconic exhibits in London and has a long history.

Every year since 1947, a 20-meter tree has been sent from Oslo to London in gratitude for Britain's support during World War II.

It was cut in the Oslo area at a ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor of Westminster, the British Ambassador to Norway and the Mayor of Oslo, then sent to London by sea and decorated in Trafalgar Square in the traditional Norwegian way.

But this year, Londoners are unhappy with the tree, which appears to be a bit sparse, both in terms of branches and pine needles in the middle.
